Koi — a single koi, brushed in sumi ink with two touches of vermilion. One of the Calm & Oak ink studies, drawn in our Copenhagen studio and carried across the prints, the cards and now the kitchen.

Behind the design
Every Calm & Oak artwork starts as ink on paper in a small studio north of Copenhagen. We keep the imperfections — the dry brush, the open circle — because that is the point.
